This Privacy Policy describes how App Natively ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, processes, and shares personal information in connection with our website appnatively.com (the "Site"), our app builder service (the "Platform"), and our mobile applications, including the App Natively Go app for Android and iOS devices (the "Application"). App Natively acts as the Data Controller for the personal data processed under this policy.

1. Introduction

At App Natively, we are committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal data. This Privacy Policy serves to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of our Site, Platform, and our official Application. This policy is for informational purposes and describes our practices; it does not constitute a contract or create legally binding rights beyond those provided by applicable data protection laws.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Site, configure your app projects, make purchases, or contact us. We also collect certain technical data automatically when you download, install, or use the Application.

Website

When you visit and use our Site, we collect the following:

  • Account Details: Your name, email address, password, company name, and system preferences.
  • Project Configuration Data: Website URL, application name, logos, splash screens, configuration settings, and assets uploaded for app building.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: The Site, Platform, or third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or service delivery. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through our cookie consent manager on our Site. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.

Android App (App Natively Go)

The Android version of the Application collects information when you download and use it. This includes:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.
  • The overall time spent on the Application.
  • Your mobile operating system version and hardware model.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens required to register devices and deliver push notifications.
  • System permissions (such as Camera, Storage, or Location) only when required by app features and explicitly granted by the user.

iOS App (App Natively Go)

The iOS version of the Application collects information when you download and use it. This includes:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.
  • The overall time spent on the Application.
  • The iOS version, hardware model, and Identifier for Vendors (IDFV).
  • Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device tokens required to route and deliver push notifications.
  • iOS system permissions (such as Camera, Photos, or Push Notifications) only when required by app features and explicitly approved by the user.

3. How We Use Information & Lawful Bases

We process your personal information under the following lawful bases and for the specified purposes:

  • Performance of a Contract: To generate, build, compile, and configure your mobile apps; to manage your subscription; and to provide technical and billing support.
  • Legitimate Interests: To monitor and analyze Site and app usage, stability, and crash diagnostics to optimize performance and security.
  • Consent: To send marketing communications, push notifications, and utilize non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Legal Obligation: To comply with legal requirements, tax regulations, and respond to valid subpoenas or law enforcement requests.

4. Payments (Paddle)

We utilize Paddle as our merchant of record and payment processor. All subscription payments and purchase transactions are processed securely through Paddle. App Natively does not collect or store raw payment card details (such as card numbers or CVV). Paddle processes your financial information in accordance with their Privacy Policy. We receive and store transaction metadata from Paddle (such as transaction ID, email, subscription status, and billing country) to manage and provision your account access.

5. Third-Party Services & Disclosures

We share personal information and technical identifiers with trusted third-party service providers to help run our business, optimize performance, and deliver push notifications, including:

  • Firebase & Google APIs: For push notifications, analytics tracking, and crash reporting (processing device identifiers, FCM/APNs tokens, and IP addresses).
  • Paddle: For payment processing, subscription management, and tax compliance. Paddle operates as an independent Data Controller for checkout processes. You can review their privacy policies on their official website.
  • Hosting Infrastructure: Secure cloud infrastructure providers hosting our platform and database.

We may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.
  • When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
  • With trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to this privacy policy.

International Data Transfers

We or our service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland. Where applicable law requires safeguards for such transfers, we utilize:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or UK Addendum.
  • Adherence to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF where applicable.
  • Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:

  • User Provided Data: Retained for as long as your account remains active. If your account is inactive for a continuous period of 24 months, or immediately upon a valid account deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your data, unless longer retention is required by law.
  • Automatically Collected Data: Retained for up to 24 months from collection, unless longer retention is required for security, diagnostics, or legal compliance.
  • Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you or your device.
  • Data required for legal compliance: Retained as long as required by applicable law (e.g., tax or corporate recordkeeping rules).

You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it. If you want us to delete User Provided Data submitted through the Application, please contact us at support@appnatively.com. Please note that some User Provided Data may be required for the Application to function properly.

7. User Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by us. To exercise these rights, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact us at support@appnatively.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@appnatively.com. Our retention periods for each category of personal information are outlined in Section 6 (Data Retention) of this policy. We do not sell or share your personal information to third parties for targeted cross-context advertising.

Opt-Out & Account Deletion Rights

You can stop further collection of information by uninstalling the Application. To delete your account and associated personal data, you can submit a deletion request under your Account Settings page on the Site or email us at support@appnatively.com.

8. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age in the US (under COPPA) or under 16 years of age in the EU/UK (under GDPR). We do not knowingly solicit data from children or market to them.

If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to us, please contact us immediately at support@appnatively.com so we can take swift corrective action. If you are under 13 in the US or under 16 in the EU/UK, your parent or guardian must provide consent on your behalf where permitted by law.

9. Security & Breach Notification

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality of your information. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and relevant regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page with an effective date. Previous versions of this policy are available upon request.
