Connect GitHub before you build

Before you can build any app in your workspace, AppNatively needs a GitHub connection. It’s a one-time setup – once it’s done, every app in your workspace benefits from it.

Steps

1. Go to Build & Deploy

Open your app and go to Build & Deploy.

2. Look for the connection message

If GitHub isn’t connected yet, you’ll see a message reading “Action Required: GitHub Integration” – and the Trigger Build button stays locked until this is resolved.

3. Connect GitHub

Click Connect GitHub right on that message and sign in with your GitHub account.

4. Confirm it unlocked

Once connected, the message clears and Trigger Build becomes clickable.

This is workspace-wide

This connection covers your entire workspace, not just the app you connected it from – you won’t be asked to connect GitHub again for other apps.
