Two buttons drive everything in the App Editor, and they do genuinely different things. Mixing them up is the most common source of “I thought I published that” confusion.
Save
Save keeps your draft private. Only you see it inside the editor – nothing changes for anyone actually using your app.
Publish
Publish saves your current draft and, in the same action, makes it the version your users’ apps load. There’s no separate “send it out” step afterward – the moment Publish finishes, it’s already live.
What “done” looks like
A confirmation message telling you it published successfully means exactly that – you’re finished, nothing further to do.
Undoing a publish
If a publish needs undoing, use the rollback action to bring back whatever was live immediately before it.
