Create your first app

This takes under a minute, and it’s the one thing every new workspace does first. Everything else in AppNatively – connecting your site, designing screens, publishing, building – happens inside the app you create here.

Before you start

You’ll just need a name for your app. Nothing else is required yet – you’ll connect your website and add branding in later steps.

Steps

1. Open the Studio dashboard

Log in and you’ll land on the Studio dashboard – your workspace’s home base.

2. Click Quick Create

Look for the Quick Create button near the top of the sidebar. Click it to open the app-creation form.

3. Name your app and choose a niche

Two fields, both quick:

  • App Name – what your app will be called. You can change this later, so don’t overthink it.
  • Niche – the closest match to what your app is for: Ecommerce, Directory, or Booking. This helps AppNatively tailor a few defaults for you later.

4. Click Create Application

Click the Create Application button. Your new app is created immediately, and you’re taken straight to its Overview page.

That’s it – your app exists. It doesn’t do anything yet, because it isn’t connected to a website or designed. Those are the next steps.
