AppNatively’s MCP server lets you design your mobile app by talking to an AI assistant you already use – Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or any other MCP client. You describe a page, and the assistant builds it in your app’s draft with real AppNatively components. Nothing goes live until you publish.
How does designing with AI work?
- Connect once. Add the server URL
https://appnatively.com/mcpto your AI assistant, then sign in and approve. - Describe what you want. “Build a Home page with a banner, my product categories and my newest products.”
- Review and publish. Every change lands in your draft and appears live in the App Editor. Fine-tune by hand, then publish when you’re happy.
Which AI assistants work with AppNatively?
- Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code) – see Connect Claude to AppNatively.
- ChatGPT – see Connect ChatGPT to AppNatively.
- Cursor and VS Code – see Connect Cursor or VS Code to AppNatively.
- Any other MCP client that supports remote servers over HTTP – see Connect an AI assistant to AppNatively.
What stays in your control?
- The AI only edits your app’s draft. It never publishes, builds, or submits to the App Store or Google Play.
- It can’t create or delete apps, or reach billing, team members or signing credentials.
- You can disconnect any assistant at any time; its access ends within the hour.
For the full list, see What can the AI access? Permissions and security.
