To connect ChatGPT to AppNatively, turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT’s settings, create an app with the server URL https://appnatively.com/mcp and OAuth sign-in, then approve access on AppNatively’s page. ChatGPT can then build and edit your app’s pages in your draft. Setup happens in ChatGPT on the web.
Note: ChatGPT moves these settings often. If a step doesn’t match what you see, look for developer mode, then wherever you can add an app or connector by URL.
How to connect ChatGPT
1. Turn on developer mode
In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings and switch on Developer mode (currently under Security and login).
2. Create an app for AppNatively
Open ChatGPT’s apps settings (labelled Plugins or Apps, depending on your version) and click +. Name it “AppNatively,” paste https://appnatively.com/mcp as the server URL, and choose OAuth for authentication.
3. Sign in and approve
Save the app. ChatGPT opens AppNatively’s sign-in page – sign in and click Approve.
4. Use it in a chat
In a new chat, turn on AppNatively from the composer’s Developer mode tools. Then try: “List my AppNatively apps.”
ChatGPT asks you to confirm each change before it’s made. You can tell it to remember your choice for a tool for the rest of the conversation.
Next step
ChatGPT is connected. Now design your app with AI. If ChatGPT can’t complete the sign-in, see Troubleshoot the AppNatively MCP server.
